"The mountains are calling, and I must go."
In 2015, I put thru-hiking the John Muir Trail on my bucket list. In August 2025, I'm making it happen! Pending permit, I'll set out southbound from Yosemite Valley on a 211-mile trek to the 14,505ft summit of Mt. Whitney.

I'll formally start training in a couple weeks. My plan is to spend gradually longer times in and around Yosemite, going from long dayhikes to several 4-day wilderness trips with a full pack.

I'm pumped!
