Today I made chashu porc belly by cooking it in an intense broth of soy sauce and white wine (I had no mirin) and finising it under the broiler in the oven.
When it was done, I consumed some of it with rice, which was an extremely pleasant experience for me and my belly 😃
Also it was ridiculously jiggly 😂
The rest will go to the freezer, to make future me very happy.
