"This game is a masterclass in how an indie game can compete with good AAA games in terms of story, pacing, gameplay, and design. This game fills a niche that I didn't even know needed to be filled, it's an accessible souls-like. This game has challenge if you want it, or you can set it to easy for a casual play-through, or you can just play for the story. Which, the game very much delivers on a good story.

For an elevator pitch: You play as a hermit crab who's shell gets repossessed by a loan shark and you go on an adventure to get it back. However, this journey will expose the truth of what's going on while you've been hiding in your shell. The sea has converted to a micro-plastic-based economy, with everybody using trash as clothing, weapons, or housing. This game will expose the flaws in capitalism whilst conveying a heart-wrenching and goofy story for you to enjoy.

This game isn't perfect, there were several glitches I experienced during my play-though, but I'd say it's an acceptable level of imperfection to put up with to experience the good parts of this game.

This was my first experience in souls-like games, and it made the typically brutally-difficult experience way more tolerable for a new player to enjoy. It also doesn't skimp on strategical elements with items and builds you can make to make yourself stronger, it just simplifies it to make it more digestible."
