Thank you, everyone, for participating! @SETIEric got the right answer: the story I had in mind is the myth of King Minos and Pasiphaë. Pasiphaë is the daughter of Helios, hence the sun and the blond hair. The stars are supposed to represent magic: She cursed Minos so he couldn't sleep with mortal women because he would ejaculate snakes, scorpions, and millipedes.
